JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the overall Visual Merchandising execution and reporting thereof.

  • Implement a systematic approach to ensure the brand standards/guidelines for all multi and mono-brand doors are met by way of:

·         Scheduling

·         Training VMs and store staff regularly

·         Providing updated guidelines to VM’s and store staff

·         Creation of store VM and Housekeeping checklists

·         Creation of clear lines of communication between VMs, Stores, and Upper Management

·         Creation & implementation of approved window concepts for multi-brand stores

·         Ensuring the in-store visual marketing images/materials are up to date at all times

·         Initiating ideas and devise ways to improve the shop fittings and displays

  • Work with Brand Managers, Buying and Marketing teams in order to implement the brands’ VM output according to the commercial calendar and initiatives.

  • Event coordination when necessary

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring to achieve the sales targets through exceptional customer experience, generate and present periodic sales reports.

  • Embrace the brand and ensure the implementation of its strategy is in line with the company’s directions.

  • Accountable for stock inventory process and summary.

  • The Shop Manager must have strong focus on achieving sales targets, conduct sales analysis & follow up on market trends. They must be innovative with ways to improve business as well as be a leader and visible on the shop floor to produce sales and assist in customers & VIPs experiences.

  • Coordinate with various divisions; logistics, marketing and the merchandising team regarding new launches, in store animations &/or renovations.

  • Prepare schedules to ensure proper coverage of the store and maintain the team’s grooming standards.

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to check displays and address any improvements in line with the brand’s standards.

  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising housekeeping in term of cleanness, display, lighting and stock rotation.

  • Can be involved in the recruitment process.

  • Conduct performance appraisals and assessments of the team.

  • A university degree in a fashion marketing or business related field.  Having a master’s degree in 1 of the mentioned fields is a plus.

  • At least 4 years of experience working in the fashion retail industry of which at least 2 were as a brand manager for an international luxury fashion brand.

  • Must have expert knowledge about consumer behavior and market trends culled from years of hands on experience in the luxury fashion retail industry

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.  Arabic is a plus.

  • Strong computer skills & comfort with CRM software.  Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint are necessary.  Knowledge of Retail Pro is a plus.
